WHAT IS E-DESIGN?

E-design – also called e-decor, virtual design, remote design or online interior design – is a form of working with a professional interior designer or decorator where you provide details about the room you would like re-designed, and the designer provides you with an E-Design Presentation Package, which contains vision of your design, mood boards, colour pallete, drawings and 3D-renderings, and detailed information to help you create the design in your Home.  It’s an affordable, fun, and creative option for the do-it-yourself homeowner who needs a vision and guidance for their space while utilizing the expertise of a professional interior designer.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ROOM E-DESIGN?

You will receive a Link to download your E-Design Presentation Package via email approximately within 2-4 weeks from our receipt of all needed items (questionnaire, payment, room sizes, photos). 

HOW CAN YOU DESIGN BASED ON A QUESTIONNAIRE?

The advances of technology over the last decade have made things very possible for interior designers to work with clients over the internet. Times are changing and so is the way interior design is performed. Eye for design, experience, professional knowledge, unique vision, creativity, rationality, savvy taste, intuition, research and thorough examination of information provided by the client - are keys to success. If you are honest and thorough with answering our questionnaire, we will be able to properly deduce your design style and design accordingly. 

WHAT IF I HAVE SOME FURNITURE PIECES I WANT TO KEEP? CAN YOU USE THEM IN YOUR DESIGN?

Absolutely! We are used to working with existing pieces and finding new friends for them that will coordinate perfectly. 

DO YOU TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ANY SPECIAL NEEDS OR REQUEST I MIGHT HAVE?

Yes, just give us the details in your initial questionnaire and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

IF I HAVE AN OPEN FLOOR PLAN AND TWO ROOMS ARE COMBINED, WHICH ROOM DO I SELECT FIRST?

In this case, we strongly suggest you purchase an E-Design Package for both spaces.  Spaces which open into one another tend to feel like a single space, and it’s not possible to truly transform the look without taking into consideration everything your eye sees in its single view.

DO YOU WORK WITHIN THE BUDGET GIVEN TO SPEND?

Absolutely! We can work within just about any budget. Our ability to create a dramatic transformation will be determined by what you’ve set aside for the project. No matter your budget, your plan may include items such as a new rug, piece(s) of upholstery, occasional tables, lighting, window treatments and wall decor.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE ITEMS MYSELF?

Yes! A number of home furnishing retailers have established an online presence, enabling us to provide you with a shopping list full of items which you can purchase on your own.

CAN YOU MOVE LOCATIONS OF THE WALLS?

Interior Designers and Decorators are limited in the professional scope of practice in regards to the building shell and structure. Our designs are applied within structures and in response to the context of the building, physical environment, building codes, and social context. Although most Interior Designers will know and understand the structure of the building, we are not Architects or Structural Engineers, and therefore cannot move structural walls. For E-Design Services, the designs provided involve aesthetic changes, or alterations that will be within a homeowner’s ability to execute without hiring an Architect or Structural Engineer.

WHAT IF I CAN'T GET THE MEASUREMENTS OF MY SPACE?

Try your best. If the room is really difficult to measure and it is a challenge for you, provide us with what you can. We will design more in a range of sizes to accommodate the unknowns.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF THE ITEMS YOU PICK FOR ME WILL FIT?

We rely on the measurements you provide to us. It is always wise to check the measurements of each piece/item before you place the order anyways. If you follow the measurements and photo instructions carefully, we will be able to create an accurate furniture placement layout for you.

WILL YOU MAKE CHANGES TO MY E-DESIGN IF I DON'T LIKE SOMETHING?

After first round of design when you receive first moodboards and floor plans from us we will discuss and review every item and with you feedback we’ll revise the design up to 2 times and we’ll change any item you’re not happy with. You’ll get your Second and Third Rounds of Design. After the Final Design Package delivery we'll schedule a 1-hour conference call to answer all you questions. After that, we will have to charge you our regular hourly rate ($ 146 CAD per hour).

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

The fees for E-Design Services are non-refundable due to the nature of the work. You have the freedom to use all or a portion of our recommendations.  We understand at times it may be necessary to provide a re-select.  We review your design questionnaire and make every effort to provide you the very best service based on your answers.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with a service just contact us and we will work with you.  If you have any questions please email us at: sofia.sakare@algorithminteriors.com we would be happy to help you.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY POLICIES?

We only use the information to design, for shipping, and accounting purposes. We will never sell your information. It is private and confidential, and is only stored for as long as we require it. For more information please read OUR PRIVACY POLICY

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and Paypal. Apple Pay is also available if you are visiting our store in Safari on Mac, Iphone or Ipad. We also accept E-Mail Transfers. Please contact us via e-mail with request for E-mail transfer.

I'VE CHANGE MY MIND, CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

If it has been three (3) business days since you placed your order, then please email us at sofia.sakare@algorithminteriors.com. If it has been longer than three (3) business days, then we are sorry, but we are unable to provide a refund to you.
